A housing company comprising six sets of high-quality semi-detached houses is under construction close to the sea and services at the address Meriviitantie 14 in the Saunalahti area of Espoo. Architecture

Asunto Oy Espoon Yövilkka’s semi-detached property site was designed by architect Janne Jylkäs. The housing company is situated in a pleasant maritime environment close to outdoor routes in the area of Saunalahti in Espoo. The housing company forms a block with a traffic lane in the middle and parking areas forming their own block courtyard. Access to the semi-detached homes is at the centre of the block. The buildings’ architecture consists of a light main colour with brown highlights and dark grey features on the terraces and entrances.

The homes have open floor plans. A feeling of extra space is added by the design of the downstairs living areas, which in some areas extend to the full height of the two storeys, and open out to the homes’ own yards. The usable space of the homes is expanded by wide terraces adjoined to the living areas. Some of the terraces are already glazed. In addition to the living areas, the sauna and bathroom are also located downstairs, while all of the bedrooms are upstairs.
